Colourpop came out with a collaboration with one of my favorite low-cal ice cream brands… HaloTop, featuring four different ice cream themed eyeshadow kits; Strawberry, Mint Chip, Birthday Cake, and Rainbow Swirl. They all looked so beautiful and delicious, but immediately I was drawn to the pinks. I’m a sucker for bright pink eyeshadows. I picked up the Strawberry Kit ($12), which contains an eyeshadow duo of two super shock pigments. I’ve been obsessed with Colourpop’s recent releases that are summer fruit themed. They’re so cute!

Both shadows are the same wet, creamy, almost silicone-y formula that Colourpop is famous for in their super shock shadows. However, the pictures do not do the shadows justice since they’re much more glittery in person. Berry Sweet is packed full of yellow gold glitter and Jam Out has a lot of hot pink dimension with red tones. On the website, Berry Sweet is described as a “warm pink with a sparkley golden flip”, and Jam Out is described as a “vibrant red pink with gold and hot pink flecks”. They both layer beautifully and blend out seamlessly. I’m really glad they brought back their tie-dye shadows in this collection because I’ve always liked the look of them. I personally love to pack the color on my lids, inner corners, or blend them out on my lower lash line to add some dimension to other colors I lay down first.

I don’t have any complaints about the shadows. I’m a fan of the all Colourpop products I’ve bought in the past. I’ve been eyeing the Strawberry Shake palette that they recently released (obviously since it’s all pink) and may do a review with swatches if you guys are interested. Anyway, I highly recommend you get these ultra sparkly, glitter packed, super shock shadows in the Strawberry Kit. Even though I didn’t review the other kits. you most likely will receive the same quality, shine, and texture in their other collaborated kits. Honestly, I’d love to buy everything Colourpop, but I’m too broke lol.
